On November 21, 2025, the International Culture Federation (ICF) proudly partnered with the Association of Certified Professional Nutritionists (ACPN) to present an uplifting community event—“2025 Winter Neighborhood Gathering: Warm Dumplings, Warm Hearts.”
The gathering took place at Improve Canada in Vaughan and welcomed residents, seniors, volunteers, and cultural enthusiasts for a heartfelt afternoon celebrating culture, wellness, and community connection.
The event successfully blended cultural arts, nutrition education, hands-on cooking, and intergenerational interaction, embodying ICF’s mission to foster cultural harmony, strengthen community ties, and promote meaningful engagement across diverse groups.

Warm Opening: Voices from the Community
The afternoon began with touching remarks from Senior Representative Mr. Zhao, who shared his reflections on healthy aging, community belonging, and the importance of staying socially connected. His message deeply moved participants and set a warm tone for the entire event.
Cultural Expression: Music, Dance, and Celebration
A highlight of the gathering was the cultural performance segment, featuring:

and community talents showcasing cultural pride.
The performances lit up the venue with joy and applause, reflecting the richness of cultural diversity within the community.
This artistic celebration beautifully aligned with ICF’s commitment to promoting cross-cultural understanding and appreciation.

Interactive Finale: Dumpling Making & Social Play

1. Dumpling-Making Workshop
Residents worked together to prepare traditional dumplings — kneading dough, seasoning fillings, rolling wrappers, folding dumplings, and cooking side by side.
The room was filled with the aroma of dumplings and the warmth of shared laughter, symbolizing food as a bridge between cultures.
2. Social Games & Card Play
Another group enjoyed relaxed, friendly card games, fostering social connection among seniors and community members alike.
